St. Patricks Day

Hi everyone! I thought I would try my hat at making a St. Patricks Day card. I cut the sentiment from my Silhouett but the little chick is an old Stampendous set that I haven't used in years. I forgot how cute that set is! Anyway let me know what you think, I love to hear from you. Until then, keep crafting!

Easter Cards

I got to play some more with my HoneyPOP paper and stamp sets from Inky Antics. I think they turned out cute! I used colored pencils and Gamsol instead of Copic markers and I really like the effect. I am putting them for sale at my Etsy shop. Stop by,take a look, and let me know what you think. I love to hear from you! Until then, Keep Crafting!

SSS March Card Kit

Hi everyone! Sorry it has been awhile since my last post, but I'm back with a card that is pulling double duty. The most recent card I created I used the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month for March. The blog challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Blog is a touch of green, so I thought this would be a great card to use for both. Hope you like it, let me know what you think. Until next time, Keep Crafting!

Hi all! I wanted to post a picture of the card I created for my online card class and for Simon Says Stamp Blog Challenge. The theme is "Anything Goes". I needed to make a card for a friend who is in the hospital so I decided to use a clean and simple design from the class. Hope you like it, let me know what you think! Have a great week and Keep Crafting!

Clean and Simple 2 day 4

Day 4 homework was the use of white space or negative space on cards. Here is my version of using negative space. It is not my favorite, but I think it turned out cute. I used a Paper Trey Ink stamp set. Hope you enjoy. Keep Crafting!

I have started up another page here on my blog, just click on the tab at the top that says Twokidsmom Crafts Shop. It is an extension of my Etsy.com shop. I will be adding items periodically so be sure to check it out!

Clean and Simple 2 day 2

Okay, today's card turned out very cute, but one I struggled with alot! The assignment was to create a single layer card. I didn't realize just how bad my paper addiction was until I couldn't use any! Anyway, I used another Paper Trey Ink mini stamp set and some Stickles. I was glad I took the picture right after I finished because my cats got curious last night and the Stickles got smeared! Oh well, I will figure something out to fix it. Please leave a comment, I love hearing from you guys! Have a great week and Keep Crafting!

Clean and Simple 2 day 1

Easter Card - yes Easter!

I found a new product from Inky Antics (okay, it may not be new but it is new to me!). I just had to share because I think it is really neat. It is honeycomb paper and Inky Antics has stamp sets you can use with it! I bought several sets and several colors in the honeycomb paper and see many possibilities! This is just my experiment and it has some flaws but overall I really like this product. You should really check them out.The paper is from American Crafts 6x6 Hip Hip Hooray paper pad. Until next time, Keep Crafting!

Washi Tape Challenge

This weeks Simon Says Stamp Challenge is using Washi tape. I don't have a wide variety of Washi tapes so I thought I would use what I have to make a Valentine's card. If you can believe it - I got the tape at Target! The stamps are from Paper Tray Ink and WPlus9 and I used the swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder. The little bit of paper is American Crafts Hip Hip Hooray paper pad & I used the large folded banner die cut that I got at Simon Says Stamp. I thought it was a cute little card for someone who might be deep in "Like". Enjoy and Keep Crafting!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

Friday is my wonderful mother's birthday, so I wanted to make her something special. She gave me a set of discontinued(I think) stamps from Stampin Up, so I made her some drink coasters out of ceramic tiles! I used Stazon ink to stamp the flower and a combination of Copic Markers & Sharpies to color them in. Spray on a couple of layers of clear sealer and self adhesive felt on the back, and there you have it. I found a little wooden box at JoAnn's that fit the tiles perfectly and then decorated it with some My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline paper collection. It is the perfect gift that shows her I love her!

By the way, I have another set over on at my Etsy.com shop(minus the box) if anyone is interested. They are only $10! I will take order - hint hint:)

It's a brand new year!

I hope everyone had a happy and restful holiday season. I know I did! I was able to get some card making done so thought I would post with some of my new projects. I am very excited about the year to come and hope my creativity will be able to grow. Please leave comments to let me know what you think . Until next time, Keep Crafting!

Here is a card I made using the Sizzix stamp set and matching die
called Mittens & Snow Globe. The paper is Doodlebug designs.
Isn't he cute!

These guys are from the Paper Smooches set called Snow Dudes.
I just fell in love with them and thought they went perfectly with the
Doodlebug designs paper and bakers twine!

I Love owls! This is another Sizzix and matching die set called -
you guessed it - Owl Always Love You. Isn't he adorable with
the googly eyes?!
