Christmas Cards

I was very busy this weekend and got alot of projects finished. I am going to post a few pictures with the details on each caption. If I don't post later, have a Merry Christmas and keep crafting!
I made this card with the Simon Says Stamp December card of the month kit. On the inside I made a pocket for a gift card.
This card is made with the StampTV Merry Little Christmas kit from Gina K. designs. It comes with two stamp sets, this one is the City of David set - one of my favorites.

These are gift card holders that I made with my Silhouette Cameo and cut files from the Silhouette Designer Studio Software online store. I used paper from Echo Park.

Christmas card

I was looking at my scraps and decided to create a card using up some of my favorites. I did use the stockings stamp from Gina K. Designs set Wishing you Joy. I used a white Uniball gel pen for the faux stitching. This is a technique I have seen Kristina Werner use on her videos many times and think it ties everything together. Enjoy you day and keep crafting!

Gift Tags

I made these gift tags to add to gifts for this holiday season. I used the Gina K. Designs Holiday Tags stamp set and just colored in with copic markers. This was my first attempt at copic markers and I think they turned out great. I still need alot of practice:) Until next time, keep crafting!

Christmas ornament

I made these ornaments for different people that I work with. I used the Spirits of Christmas Past file from svgcuts.com and the paper is Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas paper collection. The stamp is a Punkin Patch stamp. I enjoy making handmade gifts and these were lots of fun to make. Until next time, keep crafting!

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas!

The cutest of all Santa's helpers!
I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving, mine was great! I have been busy trying to get the house ready for Christmas. Here is a picture of my tree in the den and my mantle. Haven't got the outside done yet but it will get there. I have decided not to put up as much as I have in the past. I want to craft more over my break:) Here are some pictures of my decorations. My boys put all the ornaments on the tree, I let them do all of them this year. They did a pretty good job!

Christmas Wreath

Here is the wreath I made for my classroom. I just used a wire clothes hanger and shatter proof ornaments I bought (1/2 price!) at Hobby Lobby. Super Easy and took me about 20 minutes. Keep Crafting!

The Kids of Twokidsmom

Alan & Ian (with Gizmo:)
Here are my two boys - two of the main reasons I do what I do! Alan is 14 and Ian is 11. Can you believe my 14 year old is 6 feet tall! I love them both:)

Advent Trees

I made these cute advent trees for my neice. Each number is a door that opens to a little compartment with a little treat to enjoy each day. Once again I used my handy dandy Silhouette Cameo to cut the svg files from svgcuts.com. The paper I used is Comfort, Peace, Joy from K&Company, and brads from WR Memory Keepers. I love little things like this to make the holidays memorable. Talk to you soon. Keep Crafting!

Thanksgiving Wreath

Here is the wreath that I made for my classroom door. I try to keep a wreath for each season. The leaves are a svg file from thedigichick.com that I cut out on my handy dandy Silhouette Cameo:) I used fall paper from K&Company and polka dot ribbon to make a bow. I really do love this time of year. Keep Crafting!

I'm Thankful

Here is a little something I made for my wonderful classroom assistant to show how thankful I am for all that she does. I really couldn't do my job without her! The crate is a svg file from the caramel apple file at svgcuts.com and I cut it using my handy dandy Silhouette Cameo - I LOVE that thing! I used some fall paper from K&Company and filled it with goodies I know she loves. Have a Happy Thanksgiving & Keep Crafting!

My first entry!

Welcome to my blog! I briefly had a blog with another web domain, but decided to switch to blogger. It seems a little more user friendly, we'll see. I hope you will leave comments and let me know what you think about anything I post here. I wanted to have a place to share some of the things I create and hopefully you will share your ideas also. I will be posting some things from Halloween because they were lost on my other site. Other than that I will try to keep things current. Until then, keep crafting!
